For Synagogues

InterFaithways Family Shabbat Weekend

On November 3-12 we are bringing our annual InterFaithways Family Shabbat Weekend to over 50 synagogues in the Philadelphia area.  Throughout the weekend each participating congregation chose an activity, or series of activities to deepen the relationship between intermarried families and the shul.  Some ideas for sermon points can be found here.

PARTNERING WITH JEWISH INSTITUTIONS

We  advocate and provide resources for institutional and attitudinal change in the Jewish Community.    In fact, we received funding from the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia to work with approximately forty local rabbis to develop program ideas, and ultimately help make their congregations more comfortable and accepting
communities for non-Jewish members, whether or not they are considering conversion.

Our signature event, InterFaithways Family Shabbat Weekend has expanded in three short years to include more than fifty synagogues and we offer a wide array of workshops suitable for many settings.
